Initial Certification Audit (Two Phases):
- Phase 1: Documentation Review
Certification body auditors review your documents to ensure they meet ISO certification requirements. This phase assesses readiness for Phase 2. - Phase 2: Primary Audit
This involves verifying the alignment between your documentation and ISO certification prerequisites. It includes a thorough examination of reports, records, and company practices.

Corrective Action Plan
After identifying gaps during the audit, you must create a plan to address them. This may involve training employees to better comply with the standard’s requirements. -
Certification Issuance
Once the audit report is finalized and any non-conformities are resolved, the certification is issued. -
Surveillance Audits
Regularly scheduled surveillance audits are required to ensure continuous compliance with the ISO standard.
